Elektron and Erlena

Elektron is simply the Russian word for electron, and meant to represent Soviet scientific progress. Not exactly a name I’d recommend anyone use for a real child!

Erlena means “the era of Lenin,” derived from the elements era Lenina. The male form was Erlen. As far as these invented names go, Erlena sounds somewhat normal.

Like you, I’m drawn more to older, unique names. My youngest grandson is named Phoenix. 🙂

  2. Erlena would be a cool name.

How interesting a theme you have here. I like Elektron, but that name calls to my geeky side and it sounds like a Super Hero name. 🙂

Erlena is very unique. I like unique. 🙂

    Thanks for sharing.
